For Clinical Social Workers employeed by the Veterans Administation, the Board Certified Diplomate is recognized as a Tier 1 Credential in the Special Advancement for Achievement (SAA) program. In combination with other achievements in a Clincial Social Worker’s practice, this certification may earn higher recognition and increased pay.
